Hi, I am Tsjerk
I build websites from Groningen for business owners who are great at what they do, but have no interest in wrestling with technology.

How I got here
I'm probably writing this from my camper, somewhere in Europe. That has been my regular workplace for a while now: no office, no fixed location, but a laptop, a solid connection, and a view that changes every week.
I started building websites while living in Valencia. That is where I discovered how much I enjoy working remotely and making things that genuinely help people. It became the work I now do every day, these days just from the camper instead of an apartment.
I have worked independently ever since, and that is staying that way. You always speak to the same person: the one actually building your site. No account manager, no layers in between, no handing you off to a colleague who does not know your project.
I like building things that last. Not a heavy system with dozens of plugins waiting to break, but a fast, uncluttered site that runs for years without fuss. If something can be simpler, I make it simpler.
That same camper is also behind a project of my own: European Vanlife Atlas, a travel guide for vanlife in Europe. It is my testing ground: everything I learn there about search visibility and visitor behaviour goes straight into the sites I build for other people.
What you can count on
Honest advice, even when it costs me
If you are better off with a simple solution, or even with a website builder, I will say so. I would rather give you an honest no than build a project you end up unhappy with.
Plain language
I explain everything without jargon. You never have to pretend you understood what I just said.
Fixed price up front
You know the cost before we start. If it runs over because of something on my end, that is my problem, not yours.
I do not disappear after launch
Putting a site live is the beginning, not the end. You can just message me afterwards.
