At home in vanlife, outdoor and travel
I work from a camper myself, so I know vanlife from the inside, not from a brochure. Alongside that I build and run European Vanlife Atlas, a travel guide for vanlife in Europe: the audience, the seasons, and what travellers actually click on. Frequently asked questions
What does a website cost?
A one-pager starts at €650 and a complete five-page website costs €1,750. If you choose Website + Care, you pay €1,250 up front and €95 per month. All prices are fixed in advance, so you always know where you stand.
How long until my site is live?
A one-pager is online within five working days. A complete website takes 3 to 4 weeks on average, from first design to launch, including your rounds of feedback. In a hurry? Let me know and I will see what is possible.
Do you use templates or build everything custom?
I use proven structures under the hood, but the design is always yours. Colours, layout, copy and imagery are matched to your brand. That solid base keeps it affordable and makes sure your site is fast and reliable. So you get a custom site without the bill for starting completely from scratch.
Can I edit the content myself after launch?
In two ways. With a care plan you simply send changes over and I handle them, usually the same day. If you would rather do it yourself, I can build in a simple editing system for text, photos and news posts.
Why not just use Wix or Squarespace?
For a simple personal site those are perfectly good choices, and I will tell you so if that applies to you. But you are tied to their system, their speed and their monthly price. I build with my own code, so your site loads faster, performs better in Google and stays yours. You can always move it.
Will my site be found in Google?
Every site I build has a solid technical SEO foundation: fast loading, a clear structure and correct markup for search engines. That is the base. If you want to actively climb for specific search terms, I work with a copywriter and SEO specialist I partner with.
Can you take over my existing website?
Yes. I have experience with WordPress, Joomla and similar systems and can take over maintenance of your current site. Sometimes a tidy-up is enough, sometimes rebuilding later is smarter. I will take a free look and tell you honestly what I would do.
Will my site work well on mobile?
Always. I design for mobile first, not as an afterthought. Most visitors arrive on their phone these days, so that is where it has to be right. Tablet and desktop just as much, of course.
